Greetings folks, Perhaps like many I have been playing Destiny for a very long time. I could remember when Crota would commit suicide by falling off the edge in the Raid to players amusement. Bungie would then convince us and Crota that this can be fixed and so they did. Now when is a gift not a gift? I enjoyed hoarding gifts to open them later and this would be at the end of the Dawning. Let me scream with joy like a child getting a dividend from the Work Houses in Great Britain during the Indentureship period. Yes, I do enjoy playing this game and snow balls in the Crucible was a lot of fun to me. I happen to be standing in the Tower today as the reset occurred. Strange to me Eva was still there and had nothing to say or exhibit as she should. Then I checked my inventory as expected there should be no more Essence of Dawning and no cookies to offer but to my dismay my SIXTY ONE gift packages also were no longer present. Why open them later you may ask? I could reply why not? It is a gift to me! There is a lot of stuff in my Inventory and Vault that I I need to manage and I am not alone in this endeavour. The best time for me is usually after such an event, what to keep, what should I farm and what I should delete. It appears that this gift was given with a huge tether, Some how reminded me of a bully I encounter on the beach at the age of seven who kicked down my Sand castle and they were five in number and in their twenties. Do let me savour the moment of unboxing. How different are my expectations when players complete at any event and receive what they dream of having. I am not one who has unlimited time or make a living from posting. What I have is some time that I dedicate to some leisure in an armchair and being radiated by a very large monitor. Now folks a gift is a gift and just like you, If I may say so; we manage stuff in our vault (problem must use app to deposit stuff) , inventory, and to some limit our mail box; let me please open gifts at my leisure, I deserve it for the effort I made to accumulate them.
