We’ve had so much crap dressed up as ‘exotic’, and now Praxic Blade actually feels exotic. Can’t find a build on YT WITHOUT Praxic Blade. No, don’t take the easier way out of nerfing Praxic, all other exotics need to be massively buffed to be on its’ level. I know for a fact, exotics like dead messenger or ruinous effigy or pretty much ANY OTHER special exotic isn’t anywhere near Praxic’s level. Praxic brings everything to the table — Ad-clear, subclass synergy, incredible boss/miniboss damage and the best survivability tool since Devour. THAT is exotic, something that stands out from all other swords. Now make the rest of the special exotics this way. They’re currently just boring weapons that don’t feel good to use. The one that stands out the most is Ergo Sum. You felt the need to obliterate Ergo Sum’s ammo economy while you give Praxic blade essentially infinite ammo and the better of EVERYTHING (including damage). Keep Ergo as-is, but make it a primary weapon. It doesn’t do well enough to be used in 97% of content, and I refuse the idea that praxic blade can be in the exact same category (special sword),and still be 10x better. Tone it down for Crucible where needed.
