Question /legendary heavy weapons need a buff vs bosses
What weapon that is legendary that isnt a sword can come even close to the same dps as the cabal machine gun against dregen sere .
Hate this encounter tbh swords always feel a must because of getting booped of map by phalanx ,so what legendary weapons are the highest dps nowadays?
Honestly i wouldn't have to ask this question if bungie could keep there word about getting bopped of the map by phalanxs 100mph being fixed which isnt the case atall, its defo not fixed
I have done many clears of this dungeon but yet to find a legendary heavy that comes close to a reasonable dps option without daft debuff sweaty rotations etc for example hammerhead godroll with Rewind rounds and target lock is useless for dps against this boss even the heavy machine gun from the dungeon sucks for dps.

Whirling ovation, worm launcher, finalities auger, tractor, anarchy, etc. all of these options work in the heavy to complement your rocket pulse damage. Sword damage is just holding one button and occasionally pressing a second button. So if you want brain dead easy, that’s the way to go. Lightsaber does everything in the game right now.
