It is insane. Can literally get out of anything by pulling that bs move and cause insane amount of threadlings.

Edited by Hazuki: 1/6/2026 12:47:05 AMIs Weavewalk too strong? Yes, but not by the insane margin that people think. Shorten the maximum duration, or maybe reduce the damage resistance against players (not in PvE, Weavewalk is a godsend there). Oh, a good change might be to make it only resistant to bodyshot damage, kind of like a special version of Woven Mail (though it would need some extra trait to seperate itself). Since the Warlock is all glowy and green, it takes skill to land a crit on them while Weavewalking. One of those things (or something similar) would be enough, but we don't need to totally nuke it out of viability like some people want.

Right after invis hunter gets gutted, sure
-
You can see all the pve bots pointing invis and martlet like that makes Weavewalk any less ridiculous 😂

-
Ivis Hunter running martlet and a fusion…. Can’t make this up 😂🤦🏻♂️
-
What about the 10 million Void Hunters?
-
4 RepliesI do know that freeze at least can mess it up but that is currently the only known counter to weavewalk so it is tricky and annoying. I wonder if suspend can ruin it for people too, at least then they’re unkillable for less time. Crazy to think that iceflare bolts are almost completely necessary to use against a really smart, competent weave walk strand lock. I just wish malfeasance and ignitions could deal with them.
-
1 ReplyFreeze, suppress, and probably some other things take them out of it, once i found that out they where easier to deal with.
-
1 Reply3/5 Subclasses have an EASY counter to it. Yes it’s strong, but it’s also stoppable.
-
Only thing making the subclass remotely viable btw. If anything the helmet should be nerfed so the subclass is still usable.
-
Invis Hunter running the marlet asking for a nerf? Huh. What parallel universe do we live in?!!
-
imagine invisible hunter is crying wtf🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Yeah nerf hunters first. And not just a slap on the wrist like they always get.

4 RepliesEdited by villainous little biscuit: 1/4/2026 11:59:59 PMI’m alright with weavewalk — seeing as how titans & hunters still have one shot abilities. Warlock has at least a direct defensive counter.
-
1 Reply💯 % agree they weavewalk dab and kill you without firing a shot while you empty your mag in their face!
-
Yeah it's pretty busted needs a Nerf
-
-
I don’t play on warlock but I disagree with you because they Nerf enough stuff already, they should just buff other stuff or make better stuff
-
I usually play hunter. Hopped onto warlock with transversive step weavewalk this weekend since I noticed the speed boost you gain from entering/exiting weavewalk allows you to get superior map control first ahead of both icarus dash and whatever else is out there. Imo even without deimosuffusion, weavewalk is very very strong as a speed boost to get better map position at the start of trials rounds. Factor in the rest of the benefits like woven mail, crazy dr, and the threat of suspension because once people see you approaching them in weavewalk they automatically assume you’re running deimo and Pft, very strong. I just enjoy the mobility benefits since I don’t even have deimo unlocked. Maybe Icarus dash needs to be buffed to be on par with the mobility? We’ll see what bungie decides to do.

1 ReplyThey can’t do anything but run around inside of Weavewalk. Sure, it’s half decent with movement thanks to the change made to it where it acts more akin to Icarus, but it’s still not the best.
-
the ability itself imo is ok, but it needs for sure at least a x2 CD inside pvp,

Agree
