I was in PvP trying to test out a certain build, but my powered melee kills will not refund any class ability energy. Spent the better part of an hour figuring out why it was so inconsistent, and figured out the the melee was ONLY proccing if the kill was achieved by the arc explosion from lethal current. If the kill was achieved with just the melee damage and not the arc explosion, it would not consume my melee energy and not proc combo blow. I did try this without Bakris on and had no change in the outcome. I even specifically binded my powered melee so that I could only melee when I had full energy and it still refused to spend the energy. Full build: Arc subclass with Flow State and Lethal current. Fragment of Haste, frequency, Focus, and Recharge. Was using Mask of Bakris but I did try without any exotic armor and the issue did not change.
