The new lfg is incredibly limiting
Before I could say "stuck on step 8 of the path between... need help". Now I can put "equilibrium dungeon 1st check point" which doesn't tell the others anything about what i need

Had the same issue. Ended up going to the bungie discord dungeon lfg channel (?) and found someone doing step 8. Seems to have a decent population of players running equilibrium plus the quest steps so you might want to try that.

2 RepliesIts trash. If they just bring back the ability to put a text description, it would solve a lot of problem. I don't understand why they kill the mobile app version that did this; and did it better. For example, try doing a post for 5 feets for dungeon. GFL

I just did a dungeon run and you can't even do that! There's no title for fresh run or checkpoint or anything. At this point just use discord lfg.

i would of never finished the quest (step 5) if it was not for 2 players. they both helped me to step 10. step 8 is long but its easiest of the steps

1 ReplyI used to enjoy running exotic missions etc to the boss, then lfg 2 guys for a quick boss kill, i don't enjoy soloing long boss fights it's why I play destiny & not dark souls. Can't anymore, no way to put at boss, or boss kill. Ruined it, so now I just don't do those anymore.

Said FTF was -blam!- from the get go. It's too restrictive.. they had a decent LFG system in place, all they had to do was transfer it in game. But no, in true bungie fashion they tried to reinvent the wheel, try and preserve people's feelings and we got FTF...

Very limited, if they want to keep it where you can’t type your own words they need to add more keywords and options to put in.

I was going to use LFG, but I tried one more time to solo and finished it, but I was gonna put first checkpoint catalyst. That should explain it I know it would for me. I just realized I didn’t do the last step. I have to go talk to that last person lol
