Weasel error

Hi. 2 players here trying to play the game in a PS5 and in a computer in the same house. PS5 runs smoothly, computer isn't able to run the game due to WEASEL ERROR - computer is able to run COD and BF6, 230fps. We also play other online games on different platforms from this IP with no problem whatsoever. It will play the intro cut scenes, 30 seconds into the actual game starts, the error message pops up. This happened before and after the latest update. Both connected by cable to our router. Different accounts (both new as we are new players) being logged in. I've tried to re-install the game several times, no success. We've followed through all recommendations provided by you for this error. No success. We've called the technician in charged with putting together my computer, he found no problems. We've reached out to our internet technicians to see if our router needed any alterations, no success. They recommended reaching out to you to know if there's anything that we need to re-configurate in the router. Can you help us fix this please? Thank you.

  • Hi there! Error code WEASEL is a network error code. This normally means that your PC is having some sort of connectivity issue to the Destiny 2 servers. What is your NAT as provided by the game? You can check for this in the Gameplay section of your Settings tab. Also, can you please confirm if the Internal and External ports match?

    • Weasel is a client side error code. Which means it's on your end and not on Bungies. Are you wired or on wifi?
