Salt Mines HVT
Have been farming Salt Mines all week and have yet to see one single HVT spawn. Like what the hell...did Bungie really increase the spawn rate cuz it sure as hell feels like they nerfed it.
Update...finally had my first HVT this week, defeated it, finished with more than 6 minutes left and still not 1%...only 3.2 mil...smh. Sux getting punished for bein 550. My son did it last night, got an HVT and got 3.5 mil and hes only 473 light.

You need to have at least 6:30 or 6:45 remaining. I'm not sure the actual numbers.

I’m 550 and with max modifiers (aka 2.6 mil projected score), HVT, bonus objective, seasonal pass 15% bonus, and finishing with 6 minutes left I got 3.385 mil for 1%. You are missing one or more of the things I listed to only get a 3.2 mil score

I think you need to have more than 7 minutes left on the clock. I had something like 7:12 left and ended up with roughly 3.42M.

3 RepliesI killed it even though it has more health than the -blam!- boss.... With seven or eight minutes left to spare and still only barely got over 2million points...wtf is that?!?? I was expecting 3.4 or 3.5 sick of this inconsistent, buggy garbage event. And this week they "locked" our score!!! So what the -blam!- is the point of playing anymore?? If we can't increase our score in any of the activities to get to the higher tiers of 10 percent or 1 percent there's no fkin point.....cant get the emblem so -blam!- this trash event.

I finally had one spawn in my last run and it despawned in about 6 seconds. With a fraction of health left. It’s broken broken.

It's either get Top1% in something or don't even bother. EDIT: not sure why someone would have downvoted this. You'd think Top10% in every category would be considered "good at the game" but apparently someone disagrees. If it makes you feel better, I have a Top1% score with Top10% in everything else (because I stopped once I got a 1% as there's no point in doing it more than once). The fact you can cheese out a Top1% in Salt Mines while being a barely sentient vegetable in the other activities and still get the final emblem, but not get it if you showcase you're actually good at everything, is what's weird to me.
