Getting back into this game in its current state for anyone who has taken a longer break honestly feels like it comes with a threat?— like, you have to decide whether or not you actually want to spend a few nights in a house that hasn’t been cleaned in years. It’s the flower game/conway’s game of life, only, we are thousands of states deep, and it’s all going to hell. That’s a mathematical situation I don’t feel like trying to reinvigorate. The dirty dishes have piled up, dirty laundry and mail are everywhere, there’s a thin layer of dust coating everything but the sink, and the shitter ain’t clogged but you kind of wish it was. If Bungie can show me they’ll clean things up, maybe. And it’s a *hard* maybe. But at the moment I’m already planning to not play Renegades even though I paid for it.

100% sure they are not gonna open pre-order next week for DLC post Renegades when they haven’t shared even a roadmap for next years. We don’t even know if and when they will happen with all the changes to their plan.

They will drop it at the last second because (like most movies these days) the best bits are in the trailer. They have nothing besides more grind in recycled areas fighting recycled enemies for loot from another intellectual property to show off. If Star Wars didn’t already get you frothing at the mouth then their best bet is a last second trailer and hope you buy it and put your two hours in so you can’t refund through Steam.

Absolutely zero chance. Think like a business. Your logic is correct, but flawed. Most buyers have already bought, so renegades promotions is potentially pointless & eating into already low profits. Marathon pre order items are known, it's all marathon themed items in destiny - so much for it not being for destiny players 😆 but regardless, marathon pre orders arent live yet because they first want to eek out every penny from renegades & that would interfere because people get paid monthly & only have so much money, sort Xmas too. Sony as a business won't release budget for destiny or bungie as a studio, for content, before they know profit/loss for the year, to then allocate next year's money. This is why we've no roadmap, because bungie can't plan anything because budget is the beginning of creation. So, it'll go like this December - renegades January - marathon pre orders go live alongside reveal stream February/March - late Feb, early march marathon release If numbers add up from prophecy sales & marathon pre orders, good or bad, Sony could release budget numbers, so roadmap soon after, but to avoid again double dipping the roadmap may be held off until post marathon release - it'll be a blog, & you won't see content for 3-4 months after that because it needs building 😂

I may drop for the season pass and that is it.

I’ve dropped £0 on Edge of Fate or Renegades. If anything is getting dropped it’ll be this game.
