You would think Bungie would want at least 50% of the players to be able to get the prize at the....
end of the event. That way it would keep more players in the game, alot less angry players, and feel more successful and positive for all. I can see for raids (and only raids) for not earning top prizes. But giving it to only the top 10% is like shooting yourself in the foot the saying its more aerodynamic when I jump. It is supposed to be a fun event Bungie, not a contest between streamers and cheaters against casuals and solo players. So to everybody I say, just cheat harder and write the scores you want on your TV or monitor screen. Then take a picture and post on youtube so they have proof you earn you reward. Because this forum only attracts the ninjas not the higher ups where decisions matter. But venting / ranting here seems proper, right? Anyway, be good all.

1 ReplyNo would not think that. Bungie is all about the elite players who can get to 550 and think it is TOO EASY! Bungie is not about making the casual side of the game fun for those of us who can't do those hard activities. They are all about you have to play ultimate mode. If you can't do that or like me I can't do master level activities but now to get any progression I have to play master level activities. It is not fun and I have all but stopped playing. Bungie not only lost there way but screwed themselves in the process. I am only here because some one gifted it to me. I do not like it and do not want to play at this difficulty level. At least before this craptastic expansion i get some progression, it was slow but I could get some. Now I am stuck at master level and not having fun doing the things I could enjoy. I hate the new zone, the portal, new armor. The WHOLE system is broken.

It has literally never been easier to get a "1%" score. I just took a guy who hasn't played any of the event and after one cake walk of a proving grounds run he now has all the event rewards. Getting 1% is a joke and even if you cant get that you can absolutely get the top 10 score on everything but pvp and get the helmet that everyone seems to wants so bad.

Uhhh no. The whole point of having a reward for the top 1%, is having the top 1% be the ones to earn it. The majority of the community will get the lower tier rewards, because the majority of the community does not play at the top 1% of difficulty. You are not entitled to everything in an event just because you play the game. Hope this cleared some stuff up.

Scores are set. You can see what the threshold is and challenge yourself. They are very minimal per the high scores that have been hit. A good clean run will net you the score. Ie it is not a 1% of the community will only get the rewards.

Then they’re going to have to try again to make playing worthwhile for those that hit 550 already. At first the event looked like a reward for those players.Now,I’m really not sure what I’m reading lol.
