One of their biggest problems in my opinion is that they keep tearing apart teams that are successful. Destiny and Destiny 2 had some ups and downs and even a few major successes back in Forsaken for example. That team got torn up and put on Marathon and other projects. Some walked away when Bungo had its Woke phase, a phase that still has lingering venomous effects. And others stayed. Instead of keeping these teams together to maintain their success and momentum they put in new hires (DEI zombies), untested devs and other staff who quite quickly proved that they had no idea what they were doing. Terrible idea after terrible idea followed. Witch Queen almost brought things back. Almost, and now. Here we are. Lowest ratings, lowest player count, and a Portal system that players told you day -blam!- one was trash and down right awful to navigate. Yet another sign that the old guard that mad the game fun are no longer involved in any way. All I can say is….was it worth it?
