Destiny 1 was a far less complex game than D2, I think we can all agree on that. I played all 3 characters every week. I could not get enough of that game. And now this game, Destiny 2, I quit for 3 years and came back and only played 1 character every week for a couple of months and I’m done again. I’ll admit when I did come back I was having some fun, the dreadnaught was there, it was kind of a throwback for a little bit.. But then edge of fate dropped and I just can’t do it anymore. The magic of this game is gone. It’s really sad too. So many great memories of this game. All I have to show for all that time invested is a moment of triumphs t shirt. There have been some people, some decision makers within this company that have made some serious mistakes and it feels like the decisions made were really arrogant and self serving instead of serving the community and the players. I think it’s important that the people in charge take a step back and look at how a super simplified version of this game was at its peak and how this overly complex, fluffed up version of the game we all once loved went from a staple in our lives to a faded memory. It didn’t have to be like this. But Bungie chose profits and arrogance over the player experience and that will be the death nail in this game. I don’t see any coming back from this.
