I got a lot of hours in Destiny 2 and before The Edge of Fate dropped i've enjoyed every second of this game, but i honestly don't want to be harsh on campaign here but on Portal. Since first 10 plays in Portal i've felt like i'm in constant loop with option to play literally anything and nothing changes like it did in The Final Shape. It's not rewarding, grinding power felt so pointless in doing and so much was left behind.
Anyone remember Pathfinders? Yeah i actually focused on doing these, they were challenging considering you had nightfall strikes, onslaught, crucible and gambit. Speaking of gambit, vendor for Drifter is left in dust, without updates and abandoned because of Portal.
And i get it, Bungie wants Portal to be a success and perhaps welcoming to new players. But it's not really welcoming with all confusions and making it a big wall of standing between everything that Destiny is and everything that Portal is forcing us to get and play. It's a full joy-killer that nobody wants anymore, because it turned out to be a full blown failure.
I think player count speaks more than just my words about Portal...
