063
I have a funny I’ve been cooking up, it’s probably cringe, but then again, I’m cringe. “You ever see an immortal dragon fight an immortal wolf? I have, and were I any closer, the storm’s wind produced by the two’s sheer aura would’ve Blown me away! And not to mention it was so loud the racket was practically Breaking the Sound barrier!” -117th master chef of the pizza parlor
-
062
I've already got ice melter down on the driveway and walk. It did freeze up overnight. Luckily it's still snowing, so it's crunchy ice rather than slippery ice.
-
061
if it's sunny at all or warms up at all during the day and refreezes be careful of black ice... If you know you know but if you don't it's not a joke a slip from standing and a bad landing can quickly get you in the hospital be safe out there folks
-
060
starting to look icy outside...
-
059
It's been snowing since I got up, still going, and forecast to be another 5ish hours to go. It'll be interesting out there.
Edited by Dragokin: 11/9/2025 5:27:54 PM058
when I lived up north it snowed all the time I miss it now that I'm living further south again it very rarely snows and everyone freaks out when it does... Ride my bicycle in the snow all the time up north when I do that down here everybody looks at me like I'm a madman I'm safer on my bike than anyone else is in their car when it snows... Given down here it turns straight to ice winds up with sheets of it inches thick when it gets real bad people treat it like it's the apocalypse
057
Tenno - I bet when it snows where you are, life gets chaotic 'cause people aren't set to deal with it!
049
I don't mind busy says at work. It helps the day pass quickly. I hate the insanely busy days.
046
it was a lot of fun tonight. Lots of laughter. We had a player decide to create his own "handicap" just to have fun with it. He had to read names while the rest of us were busy shooting at him. He was still laughing. The number of times someone ran into "the boss", did a U-turn, and got caught by a player was getting comical. The pumpkin grenades we could throw also made things interesting
045
I've been lucky in D2 to not encounter the toxicity that can exist. But..I've only used lfg a few times and avoided any crucible prior to this clan. I didn't want to deal with it. Some clanmates have shared more than a few horror stories. I think "People" (as a generic term) forget that there's another Person on the other side of that screen/controller/keyboard. Add in the lack of facial clues and voice clues and I'm not surprised things can get nasty. Tone makes a difference, and strangers to each other add another level.
-
044
I'm genuinely glad you're having fun and being supported by your team That's all that matters
-
043
cool I've had more than a few encounters with the toxic types and very few interactions with the good side of destiny I've got a few horror stories and it's the reason I'm clan leader of an extremely inactive bunch of layabouts who have had similar interactions with the less than stellar half of the community...
042
I appreciate the concern, and re-reading my post, I see it could easily be taken other than I meant it. The pvp-ers in last night and again tonight will have fun dueling it out with each other, but not go so hard against those of us who don't really do it. All in good fun.
041
No need to worry. They're not really farming for kd. I was being silly. It's just a fun night of laughs in voicechat. Believe me...the real pvp-ers who're joining in don't need to farm for kills. It's good happy fun. I wouldn't be joining in if it was sweaty or toxic. It's a different world to be able to hear the "you almost got me Purple...I only have a sliver of health left" or the "good play Spider" when I do get one of them. There's even apologies when someone gets me when I'm obviously lost/struggling on a map. A good crew all around. They're the kind of people who make playing D2 with others what a team/multiplayer game should be. Just plain fun.
Edited by Dragokin: 11/6/2025 10:03:39 PM040
...I'm sorry but if you're..."team" needs to farm their "allies" to show off an inflated and false k/d...that's pretty toxic clan behavior... I'm not meaning to offend anybody but I find that personally uncool... But if it's a genuine clan combat night and I'm just seeing things in a weird way ignore me I just concern is all
039
almost done work. Have "volunteered" to fill a spot on a clan RedRumble night. I'll be the cannon fodder for the rest to help their kda's. 😅.
