Vault toggle in character menu is set to Control (default) and I expect that only control toggle Vault. However, both Win and Alt+Tab trigger that too. Very annoying when Switching from Destiny to DIM. I suspect that any way to switch from Destiny 2 window triggers the toggle, though for me only Alt+Tab and Win works.
