1 ReplyI found a friend with the Insight Terminus GM available. Loaded it up and peeled off to the Orrery Lost Sector in Artefacts Edge, which is full of Vex. Did the challenges very quickly utilising this method. Granted, unable to be done with randoms who would advance into the mission and cause you to join allies. It was a workaround for time abusive challenges implemented to maximise player engagement. In the long run it’s this sort of chicanery that negatively affects player retention. Quite short sighted of Bungie in my view.

I lucked out and just did the opening of the nightfall with a handful of vex in it repeatedly until i had those done. But the generate orbs challenge probably had us make like three thousand orbs. I usually make 30 to 50 orbs a strike and it took weeks for me to finish.

Critical thinking and knowledge of the game can make what seems like long and tedious be much less so.

A few weeks back when the nightfall was insight terminus, I loaded in solo and backed out into vex territory, it took a good few hours but there were loads of vex about and I completed those challenges, I think you can enter the orrery lost sector as well from that nightfall.

No, the worst challenge is............................nah, I almost said the one with generating orbs was worse but you're right.
