Have procedurally generated missions using prefabricated tilesets like warframe has.
Because the moment you realize you're just replaying the same mission over the fun factor drops off a cliff into a black hole
Warframe is fun because you can just turn off your brain and slaughter everything
But with Destiny it gets boring because your brain always knows what rooms are up next and where all the enemies spawn and where the characters are gonna speak, because it's literally just ripped from the story and recycled
It would be a lot more fun if they just had something random like that
It doesn't even need to make lore sense, just say the traveler broke or the vex did it or something, no one's gonna care, just give me a mission where I can hop in to test out my loadouts without having to wait for mission dialog or do parkour or listen to cayde not being allowed to have flares 6 years after he died
It's literally just the same experience as replaying halo storymode missions, it's fun if there's nothing else but you don't have to build an entire game around the concept
Wouldnt it be fun to just have a fresh experience every time you hit the strike button? Even if it just looks like titan with a different layout, that's basically what all the strikes boil down to; "mission, but [insert planet] flavor"
All bungie would have to do is make a couple tilesets for each planet and make sure they can fit together good
Hell, you could make it all vex themed to save on workload if it's an issue, the assets are allready there just staple them together into dungeon rooms and have a procedural algorithm do the rest.
Also please give nimbus some pants

But if they gave Nimbus a pair of pants we wouldn’t see their face.
