1 ReplyMy friends play over discord. They use music bot to play music and upload pictures to chat of the map and stuff. I have only played once, so I dont know how nice of a transition it is

Yes, but lots of the fun is taken away. When me and my friends play DnD we always do stupid stuff. One time we were at my house and my mom said they could have snacks, they took this price late too far, they ate an entire bin of Costco applesauce. And one time we were at my friends house and we broke down a door with a beanbag chair and a couch.

3 RepliesYes. Roll20 Foundryvtt Tabletop Simulator Or even Discord and a dice roller will achieve this.

There’s tabletop simulator if you do Steam, and I think there’s a Discord bot for dice. I know groups have been adapting.
