Upvote if you want Bungie to keep Sunsetting
So I did a little social experiment to see if a post would get upvotes simply for being critical of the game. I posted a generic "Iron Banner bad" topic and it got 55 upvotes overnight. I mean seriously "Over half of my games end in a Mercy", who actually believes that, I guess people didn't notice the #notsarcasm.
At least it'll be fun to see people freak out thinking 55 people on the forums want Sunsetting.

Post: Iron Banner used to be fun for all types of players. I used to be able to casually play with friends, but not every game is a complete sweat-fest. Over half of my games end in a Mercy, and that is just not fun for anyone.
Please fix this, Iron Banner is an opportunity to bring the entire community together to play Crucible, right now, it just feels like a chore.
Please match peoples skills.[/spoiler]

It was never fun in d2, hence why they forced it so much with "powerful drops". Nobody was playing it and nobody would play it outside of the engrams. The gear looks like crap, has no special set bonuses. Just a lazy shit show.

With Rise of Iron, they threw a lot of new loot at us for every IB. With Destiny 2, I don't even care anymore. I sorta looked forward to it every month, until CBMM ruined it for good. What a waste.

On a serious note, IB doesn't need SBMM. It needs more loot, better loot, and a matching system that accounts for teams and outliers so the team balancing actually has a chance at working. Right now if two very talented players queue in together, they'll be put on the same team and likely skew the entire match. That is an issue.

Things get stale when there's no innovation. Been playing the same iron banner for 3 years. Chasing the same armor and weapons with a few new modifications. By giving you pinnacle drops and enhanced mods is just a band aid for you to chase. We need a new focus on ib going forward. I would like to see iron banner rift come around. Matchmaking, different gamemode, better loot.
