While Gambit Prime does sound like it has some mechanical adjustments Gambit in general sorely needs, the fact remains that it doesn’t sound like there’s much of substance going on with this expansion other than Gambit-focused content.
Banking so heavily on an odd duck mode is disappointing to say the least.
And, as usual, they still haven’t removed Masterwork Cores from infusion.

What about the reckoning? Pinnacle PVE, not Gambit.

Did we get any real details on it? Was it showcased or mentioned in a clear way? I’m open to the possibility that I missed something going through the article. The video really only seemed to talk about Gambit stuff and vague lore related Drifter stuff. (Note to Cosmo or anyone at Bungie if you see this: looking at pictures of roadmaps is a garbage experience on mobile phone screens. Include a clearly formatted list for roadmaps, please)

Agree with note, we should be able to turn the screen to see a wider view

All I’m saying is, I’m invested in the lore and would love to find out more about the drifter and the nine, so that aspect of the DLC appeals to me. And all we know about the reckoning is that it’s pinnacle PVE with three tiers and good rewards

Rewards that are meant to be used in Gambit Prime. A Gambit-centered gameplay loop is about as appealing as a root canal!

Well, I can’t say no to a bit of gambit tbh. Anyway, why not give gambit prime a chance. I can understand not liking gambit but gambit prime could be pretty cool.

Gambit is sweaty as it is, and a sweatier version is even less appealing
