Over two years playing Destiny and never noticed this
Hobgoblins' eye changes based on whether or not it can use Thermal Barrier. I've killed well over 10,000 Hobgoblins and yet not once noticed this small detail until I was just mucking about with the HUD off.

If you use a sidearm, it won't activate even if they have it.

5 RepliesThere was a pair of hunter boots available in TBD whose flavor text read that they changed your footprints to mimic different animals so you couldn't be tracked. I spent days on different planets walking around, looking down, dying constantly, and not once did my prints change to an animals. I uninstalled the game and never looked back. I don't have time for that kind of negativity in my life.

1 ReplyI kind of like when they go into invincibility mode, from all my experience with armor lock in Halo Reach. Once they come out of it, they see me staring down the barrel of a shotgun at point blank range before they're obliterated. It's nostalgic, really.

The details in this game are amazing.I was taking screenshots of my Warlock sitting in the tower hangar in her speeder suit and I noticed when she sits her thighs flatten out just like a real person's would upon sitting that way. Stuff like that is just cool AF,IMO.

2 RepliesDid you know : that when you teabag a hopgoblin , they send a relay message to one of the minds , to let them know to target you specifically when you are at low health , it doesn't matter if your fire team is weaker and in front of it , if they can see you they will kill you . Did you know : that there's an abandoned building with an ogre guarding a computer terminal , rumors say that if you kill it fast enough , you can see the golden showers video of trump on it . Did you know : that the cabal have 6 different words for advance , but did you know that they also have 25 different words to describe guardians..? Ranging from kalambria , blueberries , taken toddlers to even one of their most infamous which is Watagatapitusberry. I don't know what the last one means , but you can tell is some nasty stuff because of how Much disgust is in their voices when they say it .

You can keep them from goin into their shield with a sidearm too.

Now that you say it, I guess I kinda just knew which one was which but never fully processed the glowing. It's always been a thought for me, like "pew pew pew and wait. it has a shield" or "pew pew pew, it'll die. "

Ok so I found out TODAY that you can drive a Sparrow across water. I had no idea before that. I accidentally fell off the Forgotten Shore on the Saber strike and expected my Sparrow to explode in the water but nope.
