Matador has made the Chaperone useless
The chaperone used to be quite good. It actually rewarded a skilled hand. Now it just plain sucks. Matador is mapping me at the same range, without the requirement to get a headshot.
Either buff chaperone or nerf matador because one is clearly more powerful than the other by a wide margin.

I use the chaperone as an anti shotgun device dont rush or slide shotgun i pop it out when someone Else is rushing me and i take the advantage of the chaperones range....

Matador is the weapon that killed the crucible for me, I have a half decent roll but it doesn't have range finder so I don't play crucible much anymore and I'm starting to loose interest in this game

The nerf to chaperone made it useless. It never needed a nerf, buff chaperone to how it was. Then it will be fine

The chaperone is a gimmick weapon, the only good thing about it is the reload animation.

12 Repliesso they have the same range and one requires a head shot but has a 4-1 firing speed advantage but requires a head shot. seems pretty balanced to me. one person has a 1 shot chance to kill you where as you have 4 chances to kill them before they can shoot again. how much more of an advantage do you want as thats not balance then its imbalance.

For chappy to kill outside a ranged Matty, it REQUIRES a headshot. Why use something that's harder to use to get the same result. Therefore, according to tc, chaperone is useless vs a range rolled matador. And one is considerably harder to acquire. I think that was the point...? For the ppl in the headshot range/ rate of fire argument.

Matador has made a large number of specials useless.

You need the right roll on your matador to have that nice range. Even then, they're inconsistent quite often.

Actually the chaperone has the edge over Matador with consistency by a wide margin and OHK range by a meter or two.
