We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

Guys, at this point everyone is pretty annoyed at Bungie for not fixing the server problem, and I just thought of a way to get back at them. (Not really for just spite, more for fun) Lets make a group for all the people who have tried to transfer from 360 to One and PS3 to PS4 and can't, so the next time Bungie hosts a bounty for themselves we all team up, equip whatever the most OP set up is(COUGHTHORNCOUGHCOUGH) at the time and give them a bad time. 1 ReplyGT: Chriz ForTheWin I keep trying to log on, other friends can get in with no problem and play and I'm the only one on the struggle bus, I've tried logging into a seperate account on the same xbox without any problem but on my personal account its a no go, even deleted and reinstalled the game to see if that was a fix, no help, nothing helps, ive tried everything in the book.

I used the disk version on last gen, and have downloaded destiny - the collection for the One . It keeps on popping up the error when I try to transfer my character. If at the very least, I was able to play with a new character, I'd be alright. I've been itching to play this game since my roommate got me into it last week. Hope the issue is resolved soon. Gamer tag is as above. Update.. My roommate can access the game and services just fine, while I continue receiving the error

3 RepliesI just bought xb1 and was told I have to purchase Destiny again (which is BS) so I bought it through the xb store and pre-ordrred Rise of Iron and now I keep getting this #&€%^£%&_=!!!!! tapir error, but only on xb1. Needless to say I am a lil pissed. This only happens with xb1, I can still access the game through xb360. Ok I'm really pissed!!!!
