We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

3 RepliesIf anyone wants to get angry, just go out and spend about $19.99 to $59.99 on destiny for PS4 or XBOX ONE, spend about an hour downloading it to your system, then get an error code tapir. No matter how many times you retry, it wont change. Come on Bungie fix TAPIR!!!!!

Hey all, I have the xbox one - just purchased the new expansion pack and what not. Trying to just play the taken king and can't get logged in, receiving error code TAPIR still, and it's Monday. So just sending in a report that new consoles are also having some issues.

Katcar42 on the ps4 have also been experiencing the tapir error since September 2nd as well and I'm getting tired of spending all of this money on Destiny and for what nothing at least half the time!

I paid 80$ for tkk on PS3 and now 10$ for it on ps4. Let's do our jobs and get the servers back up your Labor Day weekend is over, I want my money's worth of a refund for the digital collectors edition of my game or fix the error, either or.. MoneyHungry-- and I'm on ps4. Fix it or refund me bungie. Either your team is lazy scammers or full of incompetent workers that can't do their job. Probably both but prove us wrong I mean we did pay you for a reason
