Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

Hi, it has been a week now roughly and every day I have been trying to get passed the accept to import screen on my xbox one and every time I try I still end up getting to where it says "error could not connect to destiny servers (blah blah blah) code: tapir". Please help and get this problem fixed soon. My xbox gamertag is PreacherUSMC.

At this point it would be great to be given the option to start a new character and at least play. I wouldn't mind doing that at all after four days of Tapir, but your game doesn't even allow me to do that. Hoping for some sort of news from Bungie soon. I do hope you will soon fix this problem soon I feel you Bungie need to make this right by giving us a better response and simething extra its thel east you can do for making us players wait it is not fair to drop $65.00 and not be able to play I do hope you have an answer to this problem by the end of the week thanks for all that you do and I cant wait to start playing

2 Repliesmy gamer tag is VoLT CT and i currently just got xbox one. every time i start destiny to transfer my characters from the 360 ,after i accept the agreement, error code tapir pops up and its been doing this for a few days now. also on the 360 when i play online, every few minutes i get kicked of destiny and error code weasel pops up and i get sent to the home screen its really annoying especially when i'm doing raids cause it leads to my fire team waiting for me to sign back in. please fix this i just want to play! could you please reply if you see this and reply back to say if your fixing it or is fixed it.

Day 7 of TAPIR code. Can this PLEASE get fixed already!! Gamer tag is WhiteWerewolf88 and i'm trying to import my Xbox 360 account over to my Xbox One. I'm beginning to think you want all of us "Legacy'" accounts to lose our info and have to start over. Please feel free to prove me wrong by fixing this problem.
