How Annoying Is Shoulder Charge?(VOTE)
Although shoulder charge isn't OP, it can be very annoying. This is a poll to see how many people dislike it, and how many people despise it. Feel free to [b]LEAVE A LIKE [/b]on this post, I would love to see what the majority of the community thinks :D.

Woah, woah there!?! Watch your words. Last time someone said something was 'annoying or irritating' Bungie nerfed it. SC is fine though. Lol, I don't mean to be harsh. But for real, apparently stuff will be nerfed if it's annoying enough by certain people...

I don't mind it. And I don't really play on a striker Titan. Even when I do take a break from playing bubble I don't really use SC.

Also, it should be noted that I'm a mid-long range player by default. I never look for CQB engagements but even then - and again, with the current maps, it's really difficult to avoid the occassional SC. I mean, it shouldnt be a requirement that one should be able to stand in the open and counter all sniper fire just to avoid one ability - an ability that on top of things is a bonus ability with practically no CD. The latter is also very much part of the issue, if SC had been the melee on striker and had a CD I wouldnt have to see three team mates drop within seconds from it. So yeah, SC and stormcaller melee range need to be locked at, they're currently outliers.

usually means theyre running in a straight line which makes it easier to kill them with a fusion or the queens choice sidearm

I rarely use striker but I run shoulder charge. I think the only sort of OP thing about shoulder charge is that you can slide before you activate it.

1 ReplyIf you are getting shoulder charged, it can be annoying. If you are the Titan doing the shoulder charge, it's awesome.

It can be annoying when you come up against someone who is really good with it. Almost anyone can get a few kills with it but becoming good with it is a skill just like sniping ,fusion rifles or shot gunning. That's why I don't get the throwing knife nerf, it took skill to be really good with them. So ya they can be annoying but coming up against a good,sniper,shot gunner or fusion rifler is no less so. They all can be countered but its harder against someone who is proficient with them.

5 RepliesThe only thing i think should be made to shoulder charge is that it should use up your melee charge. You should not be able to use it for agility or to rapidly spam to get all your kills.

When it happens every once in a while, I'm okay. When it is used over and over and over again in a match, then I'm annoyed. Then again, maybe it might be helpful to use a shotgun instead of a sniper rifle during those matches.
