It's finally happened. Rock bottom has officially been reached
Edit: Xbox users and those that are otherwise unfamiliar with Playstation apps, I'll address the confusion now since it keeps cropping up and help save some time. You're looking at a message as it is viewed on the Playstation mobile messenger app. It looks similar to Facebook messenger, but it is an extention of the psn mobile app.
So I just finished up a match where I was using The First Curse to complete the handcannon kills part of shaxx's quest line, and shortly after the match is over I receive this lovely piece of mail in my inbox.
I am left in a state of bewilderment, as I am not quite prepared on how to handle this. I honestly thought I'd never live to see this day come.

Hatemail is hilarious, especially when they begin to cuss because you can then report their asses and more often than not they get a ban.

Apparently I'm "a kid" and a "f*ggot"(I'm a girl lol) and "gay" becuase I was using defender with no backup plans in Mayhem. Funny thing about being called a kid is that they guy that messaged me didn't understand my AOL Free Trial joke I made(he was red barring like mad), telling me that I am way older than him :P

I feel like some of this might come from previous metas being dominated by hand cannons. People are still walking around with a grudge against certain weapon classes regardless of their actual position in the current meta. That's the only way I can reason with that message. Because, let's be honest, The First Curse has a moderately slow time to kill, excluding the unfortunate player running minimum armor. The only real edge it has is the strafe speed. People need to chill, basically.

First curse is surprisingly good tho once you get the hang of it. I use now as my main weapon and I've seen people switch too it mid game after the saw me doing so well with it
