Weapon and class balance, what needs to be done.

This is a open letter to Bungie, these are my opinions and you may disagree. All I want is for Bungie to see how myself and many of my friends see the game, what is balanced and what is not. Disclaimer: The English in this post may also be terrible. But I'm sure you'll let me know in the comment section. First off is classes: **Hunters:** *Up sprint speed with max agility on all subclasses. **Bladedancer:** *Make it faster in bladedancer/make the super last longer/ less super energy cost per lash or attack. *Skipp grenades shouldn't track as long they do. *Arcbolt damage buffed up to 100. *No more frontstab. *Flux grenades should be as good as fusion grenades. *If nothing is done to shadestep/twilight garrison, blink should get a litte buff. *Also a massive pve boost to damage/and a slight boost to pvp damage. (Nothing huge, just so you can 2 hit a self-res with overshield.) **Golden Gun:** *A slight damage resistant while in super. (Like 25%) *Buff to Pve damage. (other than that i find GG balanced, if i missed something let me know in comments.) **Nightstalker:** *Shadestep,no longer makes you immune to firebolts, acrbolts or tracking grenades. Of course you can still shadestep out of the range of these grenades, and that would make shadestep still really strong, just a higher skill cap. *Wombo combo: fine where it is, a grenade and a melee to kill, that's fine. *Smoke: *Here I have a little issue and alot of people are going to disagree. The smoke Is what i find the best thing on nightstalkers. It makes it really hard to see, while it also suppresses you and on top of that does DoT. *My fix: Have no radar and suppressed with slightly reduced vision. OR little to no vision and DoT, but you can still use abilities and have radar. This would not destroy smoke, it would just leave it less effective by its own. It would still be great if you pair it with a shotgun, primary or grenade. *Teather: *Should proc instantly if you hit the person(in super). If you miss, the delay is is fine. *Animation should take a little less time. *Switch out spike grenade with magnetic grenade. **Warlock:** **Stormcaller:** *I find storm caller in a good place right now, feel free to disagree. Acrbolt grenades should get buffed like I said on Bladedancer. **Sunsingers:** *Firebolts with viking funeral: Reduce the DoT to 6 ticks instead of 10, buff the initial damage damage from 85 to 95. *Flame shield: Less DoT. **Voidwalker.** *Remove damage taken when you throw nova bomb into a wall.(Happens if nova bomb procs at tiny item on the wall or similar) *Axion bolt doesn't track as long as it currently does. **Titans**: Now titan is my least played class, so go easy on me if something is wrong. Increase melee range on all subclasses. (not as long as warlock and hunters but longer than it is now.) **Striker:** *Juggernaut: Not really sure what to do with it without destroying it. But something needs to be done with it or make titans slower. *Shouldercharge: should be a longer cool down/charge time when running. *Fist of havoc: A much clear radius of the super, damage fall of when players are far above, fix issues where the super ignores walls/corners. *Lightning grenades: more clear what area they zone off. *Titan skating with twilight: Oh boy. I didn't mind titan skating too much until twilight garrison came into the game. Needs some tweaks. Dunno how or what to make it less effective. **Defender:** *Give them the ability to get max armor. **Sunbreakers:** *Undo the nerf to hammer travel speed. *That was all the classes, be sure to call me mean names in comments about how you disagree. If you however have some good feedback I'll be happy to read it :) **Wepons:** *Bring all year one exotics and legendary weapons to year two. *First of let me say that I want the TTK to be more like year 1, this removes the issue everyone have with snipers being so dominant. Faster TTK = less time to hardscope without getting punished. *Auto rifles: High rate of fire(DoP,Arminius-d) *Higher damage fall of at range medium to long range *Reduce the effectiveness of counterbalance. *These autos should be great in close quarters but not really the top pvp weapons, More like assault rifles on halo compared to BR's. *High rate of fire:Increase damage. *Pulse rifles: Increase damage across the board *Hand cannons: Increase accuracy and remove bloom. *Scouts: Fine where they are, might need a slight buff to damage if ALL the other suggestions get implemented. Hard to tell atm. *Specials: *Shotgun, snipers and fusions are in a good place right now. Sidearms could use a little buff, like less kick to it. *Heavy: *If you have tripod, you get 3 rockets. *you get a full magazine of machine gun ammo( depends on archetype, more ammo for high rate of fire) *Exotics: *The last word: give it some bonus damage on hip fire, just not as much as it had. No point in hip fire anymore, which is the exotic perk. *Hawkmoon needs to be more consistent( removing ghost bullets would probably do the trick) *First curse: Fine where it is, maybe a little more range when ADS. *Thorn: Bring it to year 2. Give it a slight buff to accuracy, stability and range. *Red death fine where it is if pulses gets a damage buff. *Bad Juju: Slight buff to range. *No time to explain: Haven't used it enough to know what's needs to be done, if anything. *MIDA: *Give some staggering back.(not nearly as much as it had.) *Jade rabbit: I'm on Xbox so rip. *Tlaloc: Fine where it is, really good when you use it the way you should. *Boolean Gemini: *One way and or another is now one perk and does both things. *Ace of spades: *Buff the stability slightly. **Armour:** All exotic gloves should have the ability to roll reload speed on primary weapons(hand cannons, auto rifles, scouts, pulses) *Helmets: *Bring all year 1 to year 2. *Give all helms ability to roll bonus super energy on revives. *Gloves: *Nothing manacles: *buff the tracking on scatter grenades slightly. *Bodies: *Twilight garrison. Needs to remove the momentum of skating when used, it's an evade not a tool to play more aggressive. *Boots: *Radiant dance machines: *Give them a cool dance effect. Other than that make them usable. Increases sprinting speed greatly perhaps. *That was all the weapons and armor. Almost done now. Just a few things I'm really passionate about but will proabaly get a lot of resistance from the community. **Reforging weapons and armor:** *Now we all know reforging in HoW was bad, it was way to cheap and easy to get the god rolls, and everyone ran around using the same weapons. No as much as this is because there were so few good perks that no one cared to use anything else, reforging wasn't all that bad. It reduces the grind a lot. **I have two suggestions for reforging to work:** *My first and main suggestion to make reforging work to only be able to re roll one perk/ballistics/scopes on a weapon. Lets say you get a longbow and the perks are decent but you don't like any of the scopes. Well then you could head over to the gunsmith, pay him a reasonable fee for a re roll of the scopes. This could be done as many times as you wish to, but would cost every time.(like it did in year one). Now this means that if you got a almost perfect gun but on shit perk, you could re roll that and you have a God roll, this would remove a lot of the grind. Also it would work as a saver, If you get a gun you've grinded ages for(like Grasp or imago), but the perks are shit you could at least go to the gunsmith and get one good perk on that gun. *The second suggestion is to move perks from one gun to another. Lets say i have two 100 yard stares, One with the scopes i want,snapshot/quickdraw and two random perks. And on the other i had no good scopes, no snapshot or quickdraw, but i had hidden hand or some other good perk. Now i could go to the gunsmith and he would dismantle both snipers and forge me a new one where I could choose which perks i wanted from the two snipers combined. This would be done for a high fee of weapon parts, glimmer and legendary marks. Thanks for reading my Point of view. If you disagree, that's fine. If something is wrong please let me know and I'll fix it.
*Firebolts with viking funeral: Reduce the DoT to 6 ticks instead of 10, buff the initial damage damage from 85 to 95.
So..Viking Funeral adds one tick to Touch of Flame if you use Firebolts. Also it's great that they now have a Grenade that hardly hits harder than most grenades, but takes an additional six seconds to actually hit harder than they do.

    • No shadestepping out of firebolts can stay until they balance the other classes first
