Should bungie bring back reforge
I think yes. Why?
Because it made every weapon useable.

For IB guns yes.

How about forget reforge or any of that. Make a mod system. Have the gun drop with no perks only mod slots. The if you want firefly get a firefly mag. Third eye? Find a scope with Third eye. That way with some time and effort you can craft the gun you want. And that prevents the "unfairness" of random RNG rolls. RNG will always be apart of the system but at least the player has a little more control over their gear.

No. Armor reforging would be acceptable though. But definitely not weapon reforging. It ruins the point of new loot when you can just reroll what you've already got an infinite amount of times.

Only if we have more useful perk options. We don't need a million of the exact same guns running around.

not until there are more overall perks, and more USEFUL perks, so that there are more than 1 good roll for a weapon.

Yes, more custimisation is always a good thing only PvP mains will tell you otherwise and try to limit this game's already limited armoury and perk pool. Everyone rolled for the same perks in HoW because with like 7 good perks and millions of players....... everyone is bound to have the same thing. Add more perks and you'll fix the lack of diversity bungie, Jesus Christ a fukin 5 year old could see the problem.

Yeah but I think they should make the system more complex so that way people with 1000s of motes can't just sit there and re-roll forever to get God rolls. Like for example, maybe you only get a total of 5 re-rolls per weapon every day.

i wouldn't mind being able to change scopes on weapons but perk reforging no it did make weapons usable but it also made getting weapons boring im all for buff to weapon drop rates

They should let you pick the tier perk u want to change to with an added chance of destroying the item in which case you will get parts and marks if it is a legendary

I want it back, but not the way it was before in Y1. 1 mote and some glimmer is way too easy. Maybe the same weapon is needed and 50 marks. So the trash roll version of your favorite weapons aren't useless and dismantled right away. This makes it so you also have to grind for your perfect roll (or get extremely lucky) and you can't constantly keep rolling like there's no tomorrow. Finally, a reason to use marks? Yes, please. Also it makes buying faction, crucible and vanguard weapons actually viable. Get the weapon you want to perfect and you can reroll it a handful of times a week from rebuying it and using it as reroll fuel. That God roll actually becomes something you worked for and becomes something special.

10 RepliesYes, but in a different manner. You should turn in any Legendary weapon to the Gunsmith and on Armsday he will bring you three random rolls, like the Gunsmith weapons except it's any Legendary you have.
