IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

2 RepliesPeople who complain about Bungie being lazy or what have you probably don't have a clue how programming works. Could they have made entirely new character models? Sure, at the cost of hundreds of man-hours to make, rig, animate, skin, and test them. If you've already got a working model it's a helluva lot easier to reskin and give new abilities. Plus it's not like people complained the red koopas were reskinned green koopas

Sorry, but hell no. This was once my favorite game to play. Now I hardly play due to poor design choices. Bungie continues to fix things that are not broken.

Well they already did with their microtransactions, that was the whole point of implementing them, to pay for new free dlc content. Problem there is two fold. One, it was supposed to be for everyone, not just Taken King owners. Two, it was supposed to replace the standard year one type expansion. I'm sorry, but the year one DLCs were small and lackluster, but at least they gave us a raid and POE and something new. One freaking strike and reskinned guns and you kids are happy after 6 months of nothing. Screw free, I would have preferred they make us pay 20 bucks and at least give us something Dark Below sized. This is not content, if you are going to repackage old shit then yes, it damn well better be free. Even still it won't keep me playing. I want NEW content.

These babies cannot help but complain. They are gonna be the downfall of this game. The vast majority of players don't even use this forum. It's free content and for that, most people will be satisfied. The minority of folks that bitch and whine on the forums mean nothing.

It's not a free DLC. it's content you paid for with the taken kind dlc, being spread out over 8 months. Because they realized the taken king wasn't nearly enough content to begin with.

16 RepliesDestiny was a 160$ game. All the dlc was gutted content from the original sold to us 4 times. It's shitty for a free update considering how much we've paid already.
