IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

I feel like they reskinned poe first because it would be the easiest to do. Re skinning a raid to take new mechanics because of the influx of taken would be much harder then Poe from a developer standpoint. Just my 2 cents. Come at me forums.

4 RepliesI actually don't mind paying for good content. I feel like I have gotten my monies worth from this game so far. But don't give us re-skinned missions and weapons. I would rather you put the effort into a decent update that maybe you have to charge a little bit for.

3 Replieslets be honest we already paid for prison of elders and that's whats MOST LIKELY coming back all they are doing is upping the level and maybe a new boss.... they are bassicaly giving us old year 1 weapons some shaders some ships and maybe a new crucible nerf but still we waiting this long for that..... (The taken shader looks dope tho)

Nothing is free unless there's a charity out there, raising money for video game DLC's. Destiny's is being paid for by microtransactions and Division's is being paid for by the original games' sales (i.e. - it is truly cut content).

6 RepliesWhy is it no ones pointing out that with this update and the light lvl increase they have successfully made another raid and the gear you get from it irrelevant? This is bs as far as I'm concerned. Instead of bringing all yr 1 content up to year 2 they choose to eliminate the only raid from the equation and make the content that got no love from the community in its original release up. It's sad that y'all are so desperate for new things that you failed to see the bigger picture.

Is not a dlc, just an update,,no one in face of earth gives a free dlc, is just an update that raises light just to farm for same stuff u already have but more light to it,, let's hope they change the vendors weapons at least

It's not a dlc though, it's just an update that adds a strike and new "challenges". The dlc drops in the fall. Don't over hype it. All its going to do is add a higher light level to chase and probably some of the exotics that we already paid for that was advertised with TTK. I say a few hours worth of content and that will be it.

I'm happy for the update. My only fear is the dry patch that will come after it. As awesome as this free update will be, I know it's not going to last us until fall. I give it a month. But *fingers crossed* maybe Bungie will surprise me
