Throwing Knives are too much fun [Warrior: Gunslinger Edition]
Two weeks ago, I posted the first of the Warrior series https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/194448931/0/0/1.
Last week, I posted the second of the Warrior Series https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/195540558/0/0/1
They both received so much support that I had to double up on my efforts to release the next instalment. Therefore, I present to you: Warrior: Gunslinger Edition. Throwing Knives are probably the most satisfying melee in this game to get kills with. However, they suffer from too much aim assist. Just see the hilarity that ensues for yourself.
One last thing, it was a pain in the ass to use a shotgun on this class. Bones of Eao made it a little easier but man, its so hard to pull off compared to other subclasses.

8 RepliesI was talking about this with my friends about how the gunslinger gets the throwing knife but the bladedancer pulls out his weapon fast. It seems like that's backwards because bladedancers are swift with the blade, so they could throw it, also the gunslinger should pull faster since its a gunslinger

I NEVER have run Gunslinger in PvP! I run different classes and sub-classes, depending on quests or what mood I'm in. Just never been in the mood for that particular one. IE... didn't really notice the bright red/orange subclass when changing up my weapons and gear for that match. :) Guy jumps down through an opening a little ways in front of me. PERFECT timing to toss some poison smoke at him! Freaked me the Hell out when I threw a knife in his face! Got my 1st kill for the "JUST A HANDFUL OF BULLETS" quest. Got my second one shortly after. ;) Imma have to run that sub a little more often now!

I've thrown knives and seen them pull quick 180 degree turns in midair to score a precision hit. And with the stability buff it's even more noticeable lmao. Should really try those out, you'll practically never miss again.

1 ReplyNice one. Gunslinger is possibly one of my favourite sub class.With Ahamkara,knives juggler+gambler dagger it's rediculous fun. I do agree that aim assist could be toned down a little but it'd be great if I could pick up the knives that I've missed though.

3 RepliesGunslinger is arguably the best of all subclasses when it comes to actual weapon use based on it being the only one with nodes for weapon handling/ stability. Many folks like to emphasize stability perks on weapons whereas it's basically already built in to the class. This then allows using other weapon perks and having the best of both worlds.

5 RepliesBy forum title, I thought there'd be more throwing knife action. Only the first 25 seconds of cool knife kills and then not another until 3 minutes in. Mostly a shotgun montage. But great song choice and super kills. Good job!

1 ReplyAnyone else feel gg has had hitbox issues. We all know it's got a huge hit box but several times in trials Ive been in that hit box and watched that bullet miss the target by a few inches. Other times I think I miss and get the kill but most of the time it's a really small hitbox.
