Ice Breaker exploit in Trials is for SCRUBS.
DON'T FRONT, NO ONE WAS USING IT IN TRIALS A WEEK AGO NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A VIABLE OPTION? NO, IT'S BECAUSE THEY TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS SPECIAL AMMO.
If you're doing this you're pathetic.
It happened in my first game of Trials this weekend. All 3 had Icebreakers then switched to their 1000 yards later. The game's been changed for a reason, play it the way it's meant to be played now.
Go ahead and disagree. I won't care. You ladyboys always gotta find an exploit to get cheap kills instead of playing the game right. If you NEED sniper ammo that bad to get a kill then there's more wrong with you than just being a coward in a fake fight.

Not an exploit, but yes it is cheap and yes we all knew this was going to happen. If you didn't you live under a rock. If you even thought this update was going to change anything I feel bad do you. Sidearm starts with ammo which is one clip of sniper. You have an invective which regenerates ammo. Lastly you have ice breaker which will give you full ammo in 30-45 seconds. People are going to do what they want and they will find ways to do it. Live on and bite the bullet. [spoiler]I say bite the bullet because it has two meanings. If you are the person to run down a lane and not expect to catch a bullet to the dome then I feel sorry for you [/spoiler] [spoiler]I really don't feel sorry for you. Domes for days.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyThis new special ammo rule is a slap in the face. If players were using ice breakers before this, they were idiots... Now they're cheaters. Bungie made this mess for us players that don't exploit, turn on the cowards that do. I think it's pathetic. I don't believe bungie should nerf anything here. Restrict all special ammo round one. Round 2, you'll spawn in with special. That would involve another stupid nerf for decent exotics. The only real option is to reverse the changes made.... I don't see any other way to get rid of this without a nerf of a gun that gets rid of its only decent exotic perk. I wrote this frantically on my phone, so any errors made, you can f*ck off

Who cares? They almost always suck with it anyway. Just use a nlb and snipe their shit. Intelligent people use sidearms for the same effect anyway.

1 ReplyHonestly, this shouldnt be. Why not do this? A simple solution would be "to lock items as soon as a match starts" meaning: no switching weapons. I think that would balance it out.

1 ReplyI agree that using an icebreaker or a sidearm to give special ammo to another weapon, circumventing the new special ammo rule is unacceptable. I do, however, thinking that running icebreaker or a sidearm that spawns with ammo is completely acceptable.

Maybe you should focus your attention on something productive for yourself like improving your play style rather than bitching about other peoples' play styles. It really is not that big of a deal, it's merely an inconvenience for the first round only.

Those with special ammo will have a distinct advantage over those who don't. Of course people are gonna use any mechanic that's gives them this edge, why wouldn't they?
