Ice Breaker exploit in Trials is for SCRUBS.
DON'T FRONT, NO ONE WAS USING IT IN TRIALS A WEEK AGO NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A VIABLE OPTION? NO, IT'S BECAUSE THEY TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS SPECIAL AMMO.
If you're doing this you're pathetic.
It happened in my first game of Trials this weekend. All 3 had Icebreakers then switched to their 1000 yards later. The game's been changed for a reason, play it the way it's meant to be played now.
Go ahead and disagree. I won't care. You ladyboys always gotta find an exploit to get cheap kills instead of playing the game right. If you NEED sniper ammo that bad to get a kill then there's more wrong with you than just being a coward in a fake fight.

7 RepliesHow can a perk on the weapon considered an expoit? Players didnt use icebreaker because they had special ammo when they started the match but things havw changed so players started to adept to the new change. Also using icebreaker will lower their light level giving the opposite team an adventage

1 ReplyI don't see it as a problem though. By the time they get a bullet you can be on top them and you are 10+ light levels higher so you're doing more damage.

9 RepliesJust leave this here: Sleeper Simulant In looking at an inoffensive ammo exploit bug, we took the opportunity to address some pretty unanimous feedback about the ammo inventory on this weapon. Changes: Maximum inventory ammo buffed (from 7 -> 9) Ammo swap exploit removed (weapon no longer converts one ammo from a different heavy weapon to a full inventory)

If people are using Ice Breaker then it means they're not using the MIDA Multi Tool or The Last Word. I'm fine with this.

(I could never compete with a sniper before the patch, and now that people are finding ways to get sniper ammo, I still can't compete with them. So I'm gonna call them scrubs "with no honor" and say that they suck because I can't get to the lighthouse.

2 RepliesIf they didn't want us to use Icebreaker then they would have done something about it. Right now, it's a weapon in the game, and we're all allowed to use it. Deal with it.

I agree that it's not the most respectful way to play but Bungie needs to fix that. That's not on the players.

1 ReplyHow can people disagree about this. It's an obvious exploit that clearly the developers missed. This isn't a tactic or a playstyle it's an exploit and needs to be patched. Regenerating ammo should not transfer if you swap weapons.

I'll do what ever I want to play the game as I please. If it angers you or anyone else, oh well. I'm just winning in more than one way. (Unless I lose the match. Then I only mad you nerd rage, victory enough for me) Making people rage over a video game by finding an advantage is great. (Not a cheat, advantage/exploit that is built into the game on purpose)

I've used the icebreaker in the past if I run it of ammo in the middle of a game. Now I run a NLB and sidearm

Went up against this figured I'd try it out to see the hype apparently (with armor perks) 3 icebreaker rounds switched equals 9-12 1000 yard stare rounds... That's the problem
