Oryx Challenge is Impossible
Its too hard, its basically impossible.
I cant use the no knight strat and its too hard any other way.
Can anyone give me some tips or help me?
I play on the Xbox One if youre willing to help.
Edit 1: For all you kids telling me to git gud or calling me a skrub please stop it really hurts my feelings
Edit 2: 90% of you kids saying youre better than me are filthy liars
Edit 3: Seems like titans are a crutch for this part can anyone confirm?

My first oryx hard completion was challenge mode. It's easier than the normal strat.

It's glitchy dude, even if you have a good group and manage to do it flawlessly there is a chance for it to glitch out. Took a team I ran with yesterday 3 tries cause of glitches

1 ReplyOn hard mode I found it easier. It was only my second time ever doing hard oryx just to prove how easy it is. We did the proper strat, and not having to detonate your orbs one by one drastically reduces dying while enroute to them. Try doing it legit and see what happens

The challenge isn't ment for everyone. If you can't do it you can't. Then you have to learn from it. Learn what your doing wrong. Turn the negative criticism into something good.

It's not that hard. You just need a good fireteam. It took us 3 1/2 hours to complete the raid all 3 times with challenge mode. We started at 3:30pm est and finish at 7:00pm. Every week we get it done so raids are out of the way, giving us more free time to do other things in destiny or to simply play other game. Just get yourself a good fireteam. We do it as follow 2 Titans, 2 warlocks, 2 hunters every go. 2 Titans in the middle melting ogres. Platformers killing there Knights, hunters are tethering adds after staggering oryx. Platform ration same as no knight strat. Meaning 3 of is assigned to platforms 1-3. Kill shade rinse n repeat. Though we do one complete raid but grab warpriest check point between the two of us. Skipping that jumping shit twice.

The only problem i find with the 16 orb strat is actually seeing when you have detonated all your bombs., to combat that i would advise you get as many warlocks as possible on the plates, when it comes time to detonate none warlocks (which there will always be one) step in early (1 second or so ) so there names pop up first and they can make it back. Warlocks step in late, just die and self rez at the blight.
