Nightfall Strike Rewards (Sparrow horn, seriously?!)
Alright seriously. What the ever loving hell were you people thinking. So I just finished the Nightfall with my group and they got 21 Strange Coins which is decent. Meanwhile I get a Custom Horn Kit. Seriously, what the hell?

I got a god damn custom horn kit too last week from a Nightfall. One of my friends got an emote this week. What an insult. Bungie, are you guys retarded? Wake the hell up, don't put cosmetics in the regular game's loot table FFS! If I want cosmetics, I'll pay silver, I'll participate in those "festivities," you know, ACTIVITIES THAT ARE FOR COSMETICS?! Sometimes I think some of the people who work in this company have their heads so far up their asses. As much as I love this game, it is clearly going downhill, and every time you guys do these things you lose veterans... you know, the guys who were there from day 1. Who pay for shit the day it is released. Who make you guys at Bungie rake in more money in the long run.

They do suck. If you don't get the same thing every week you get something that you just can't use or isn't worth the time. Sure the strike isn't all that bad but to put in the time for more of a challenge and to be rewarded with low level gear, a horn or a lower priced emote is just ridiculous .

I used to run Nightfalls for all three characters every week, no exceptions. I USED to get exotics and legendaries frequently. And prior to the new light system, the guns were ready to use or only required minimal effort to upgrade to make them relevant\useful. Now I'm getting ghost, ghost, low-level legendary, 2 motes, etc. I rarely get exotics. Until they revamp Nightfall rewards in a meaningful way, I'm going to avoid playing them unless I've exhausted every other activity for the week.

I actually think emotes and horn kits, etc. aren't too bad of rewards. Basically rewarding silver purchased items.

I would actually be okay with a sparrow toolkit since I have no intention of spending real money to buy one... But that's beside the point. Putting SRL loot into the pool for Nightfalls is just a giant middle finger from the devs.

I've done really well recently with exotic drops in nf until today. Run twice and got only blue engrams drop from boss even with 3oC. 296 helmet for Hunter and 291 legendary pulse for 307 titan

I got a 302 Ghost shell, helpful, since all my characters have 310+ ghost shells already. Oh, and a couple of blue engrams... and a horn. Oh boy. All from the 3 times I ran it last night.

1 ReplyBetter than the ONE mote of Light I got on my hunter yesterday on my final nightfall. No legendaries no coins just ONE measly mote if light. Never felt so disappointed ever since the time I killed Oryx on normal and got nothing from the chest. Not even a common moldering shard.

Ran it on an alt and just got strange coins but the other 2 got sparrow kits, their reactions had me cracking up.
