Having the ability to afford a console that's been out for now over 2 years, isn't elitist. At this point, if you have enough money to pay for decent internet up til now, you have enough money to go current gen. Especially now that consoles are $350 or less and they INCLUDE extra games. Christ, you could share games with a friend and make it EVEN CHEAPER on X1. PS4 may have that as well. Im not sure.
