You can. My friend transitioned to a male and I will defend him to the death against bigotry; but I won't have too since I live in a super left-wing community.

Trans means transition, which means if they aren't -blam!-ing transitioning I don't support them or their stupidity. If people actually want to go through with surgery and become the opposite sex, more power to them.
