So for you guys getting 300+ light drops, were you already at 300 light or above?

Completed one NF after doing the quest. Light level was 298, received a Legendary 303 Helm.

I was 307 on my hunter and got a 309 sniper rifle. It sucked, but I infused it with my 1k yrd stare so I'd say that's a win. I'd be happy with 10 3oC tho. Op is trippin if he doesn't see the value there. That's at least one exotic, probably 2. And you don't have to grind strikes to use them so that's not a rational argument. I just them on raid bosses, etc and go through about 10 a week thru normal gameplay

My buddy was less than 300 (292) I believe but he got a 302 chest.

I'm usually wavering between 303 and 302, but I had a test weapon on from the gunsmith which brought me down to 289. I think I can see where you're going with that question, and I agree. being above 300 may have an impact on whether or not you get 300+ gear

Yeah wasnt sure if it worked like the exotic engrams where you already needed to be 300 to get 300+ drops/decodes

Nope. My drops were 303, 306, and 310, and all of the characters were between 294 and 298
