I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

They are Improved man I just got a 305 ghost and a 302 ghost!! I already have a 310 and a 309.

Sometimes you get crap, thats always been the case. However, every weapon and armour drop i've seen in three nightfalls today has been above 300. This means that nightfalls now give out raid level rewards, which is a significant improvement on what we were getting before. Nightfalls now have a purpose again other than the slim chance of an exotic because they can help you get above 300 light in preparation for the hard raid.

3 RepliesYea come on bungie I want 320 exotics every time I beat it on all three of my characters and better yet let me choose my reward so I don't have to wait on anything and also I don't want to run the strike just put me in the room with the boss who starts with half health dragging out the inevitable and everything.

People need to accept the fact that they will refuse to do anything that might reduce the longevity of the game. They want you to grind for weeks or even months. They are desperate to keep players interested, and rather than enticing them with the content they desire, Bungie simply increases the grind. I, personally, am sick of the grind. I have no desire to get to 310 or do nightfalls. It has reached the point where I only play when my friends ask me to. And I think that is where the problem is. Sometimes you quit playing a game because you have everything, and that's a good feeling. But this, it just feels like a huge waste of time doing half the tasks in the game because the rewards simply aren't there. Or at least not consistently enough. Rather than trying to keep people grinding for years without reward, they should reward those who grind and make them feel as though it was worth it. Because that yields a greater experience and will benefit them more going forward.

Well I beat it three times today, back to back. Got strange coins, a purple cloak(legendary marks), and a purple gun(marks again). Bungee doesn't fix things, puts glitter on crap and tries to tell you it's better.

I hear you loud and clear. Scored 19 Strange Coins and was told I could buy some Three of Coins and do strikes to get exotics. Duh, I already knew that, which is why a lot of us were complaining about the Nightfalls in the first place.
