I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

6 RepliesI hit the Psion flayers nd last night, not one legendary engram dropped, no exotics, only reward was strange coins (which isn't so bad for me). I've gone through around 8 three of coins over the last few days and had almost nothing drop except for a handful of reciprocal runes. I haven't even seen a strike specific item drop in any of the teams I've been on. RNG woes

Didn't run nightfall but did have great success with 3 of coin today supercell and Monti Carlo both dropped super cell at 290 and Monti at 310

So I did the Nightfall 3 times. Received a 292 Apple of Discord on one, you know what my two teammates received? I shat you not, they both received 308 defense vanguard ghost shells..... Do you understand how salty I was???? DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!?!?!? I am almost 299 light.... They are only 291-293..... I almost quit right then and there.... Both of them!!! 308!!!!

1 ReplyYou got the equivalent of 14 strange coins, because 3oC is the only thing they are good for besides glass needles. Better than a 303 legendary, which is still better than the antiquated runes from before the patch.

3 RepliesTo down to say this much i have done over 15 nightfalls and only to get 288 to 293 gear legendary gear god awful no 3of coins not 1 exotic the old nightfalls were better it should be awarded at least 1 exotic every 6 nightfalls in my opinion without using 3 of coins i have played a lot and yet to get any year 2 exotics only ones i have are from buying from xur or using marks which isnt fair in my opinion rng is such crap its like it does not like me always been like that for me nightfall missions should be like 3 of coins if you dont get an exotic then next week it should go up slightly in chance even playing kings raid had to do it 8 times before getting anything but shards they need to really adjust rng. I see the same players get exotic after exotic even when using three of coins before the patch used about 20 to get uh 2 freaking exotic armor not weapons and they are year 1s that are now year 2s.

4 RepliesI posted on Bungies thread on the update I don't get it These are rare level rewards like blue engrams Should be 80/20 legendary/exotic armor weapon ghost class item 290-310 Or even 90/10 I don't want either of those things, anyone playing fairly regularly is drowning in fcuking strange coins, they drop everywhere now, engrams,crucible rolls,bounties,quests, vendor packages....I do not want Three of coins or strange coins I spent 400 strange coins on the unpatched ToC that first weekend, I have more than 200 on each character again.....I don't get the decisions their dev team makes at all man

8 RepliesYou have ten chances for an exotic. The Nightfall only has one. So basically you got 11 chances at an exotic from one NF. That is nothing to be upset about.
