Pocket Infinity. The dark age relics, the similar aesthetics to the Sleeper Simulant, and the item description.
But that's to obvious right? Maybe not.
One of our CM's, Cozmo, has it equipped right now. But why would he have it equipped? It is still at year one damage levels, and mostly unupgraded. Could this be a hint? Is Cozmo finding the Sleeper Simulant right now?!
The item description, Deej's reference, and Cosmo having a near useless item on his main character all seam to point to Pocket Infinity having [i]something[/i] to do with the Sleeper Simulant.
But what?

7 RepliesI think u get sleeper when u find all the DVALIN fusion rifles (or at least the quest). They can be found anywhere on earth moon and venus (havent had drops on mars but maybe)

Just because it isn't a y2 weapon and some people can only get it from legacy engrams doesn't mean it isn't required for the sleeper. They said you cannot get it alone. Meaning a player that has the PI can help a player that doesn't have the PI. You don't raid alone. You don't do strikes alone. It can very well mean you cannot get sleeper alone. Think a bit

1 ReplyPocket infinity cannot be related to the sleeper simulant quest. Just think about it, new players would have to be lucky enough to get special legacy engrams from xur and an insane amount of strange coins, only to have a chance at getting pocket infinity. My guess is that cozmo just uses pocket infinity in crucible, because if you check his history, his last 10 games or so, were crucible matches.

I was messing around with the pocket infinity the other day after Deej made the comment about showing us the door. I just found it interesting the grimoire/quote for PI mention something about it being a "key". It could just be coincidence... but it's fun to experiment with it.

30 RepliesEdited by Anti_Hirro: 10/3/2015 3:10:17 PMThe thing that bugged me the most is the quest marker stuck on the tower, I have zero active quest at the tower, only three total anyway and they are all accounted for, I have scoured every part of the tower, interacted with every npc, even had the PI equipped just incase and found absolutely nothing. I know it's far more likely that it's in a mission somewhere or linked to HM or a certain rank, I just can't get the tower quest marker out of my head, tested it on an alt, only appeared after handing in those fusion rifles. Edit: it's not any standard quest so stop suggesting that, I have ToM, I have completed all raid quests, I have zero abandoned quests.

8 RepliesHe's using it in the crucible.. People need to get away from the idea of the pocket infinity being part of the quest. Its a year one weapon that you can't obtain in year 2. Bungie wouldn't do that.
