Anyone else annoyed about the Moldering Shards "extra rewards"?
So this is the 2nd time i go through the raid with my 20 Moldering Shards (each) ready for Oryx and my "super extra rewards" and all i get is Wormspore material (which i have more than 1100 already), 1 single item like a Cloak if i'm a hunter or a Mark if i'm a Titan and that's it, maybe 1 primary weapon.... hahaha where's the extra reward? Because i'm tired of seeing people getting more stuff than me with or without moldering shards xD
A friend yesterday had 3 weapons and 1 armor piece (da faq?) hahahaha.
Share your depression with me! hahaha
PS: One of my raid teammates had 2 moldering shards as a reward HAHAHHAHAHAHA... took off his 20 and gave him 2 back xD i lol'd so baddd

I did everything up to oryx... Moldering shards and boots...

I'm going to do a test today between my 2 characters. I'm going to pull all the shards off my titan & give them to my hunter. I'll report my results upon each completion

I played through the entire raid and only got a 303 scout rifle...

First week, no shards: scout and auto rifle Second week, 20 shards: gloves and 2 shards Extra rewards my ass.

My first run through ever I grinded out the hadoum flakes and glimmer because I wanted to get some extra loot as all I had gotten upto that point in the raid was a shotgun. What did I get for my 20 mouldering shards, another 2 mouldering shards and that's it. What's that crap hahahaha. I have only run through the raid one more time due to my group having limited availability and all I got from oryx on my 2nd kill was again 2 mouldering shards. I don't know why its possible to only get mouldering shards. Especially if you use 20 shards only to get shards. It was like when I ran Crota and only got 2 ascendant energies. If mats are going to be in the loot pool I feel like it should be guaranteed that you get at least one other item that isn't mats.

Just a question: 1. Can u get ghost shells for other engram mat drops 2. Can you then use engrams mats for the sword quest.

It's pretty bad really. Very inconsistent. You shouldn't receive 2 moldering shards as a secondary drop to the main drop.

I got 2 auto rifles that were the EXACT same (300 attack with life support) but the shards gave me a 308 hand cannon with firefly, so I wouldve been depressed if it wasnt for them xD

Yeah I only got the pulse rifle and the rocket launcher last time with 20+ shards, oh and -blam!-in wormspore

I had 20, killed oryx and got the chestpiece and scout. Nothing else :(

Edited by Craigh: 9/28/2015 8:55:35 PMRan the raid last night and got some boots in an early chest that weren't as good as my equipped ones then after we killed Oryx I got the same boots only 1 defence better than the first set I got earlier(still no use to me) That's it lol I even popped a three of coins before the fight and it took my 20 shards. Fair enough I got some wormspore or whatever but I feel robbed D:
