So did anyone else lose 20 smoldering shards beating oryx?
So I had a total of 39 moldering shards going into the oryx fight. Defeat oryx get just the gloves and 2 moldering shards. Go to my inventory and there is only 21 moldering shards. This happened to someone else in my fire team. like I thought I was supposed to get double rewards... Has this happened to anyone else?
Moldering shards even say "extra rewards will be granted when defeating oryx in the Kings fall raid with at least 20 of these"

Oryx can still drop nothing for you dude. The gauntlets were from the shards.

1 ReplyI did oryx today and it toke 20 and i only got the rocket so cheated of rewards i think so but its whatever cause it didn't take very long.

This happened in my raid today. A fireteam member lost 20 shards but only got one loot drop excluding the +2 or so smoldering shards. For me, I had 39 shards and nothing was taken from my inventory when I defeated him but I also got nothing. I'm starting to think the shards are bugged. =0/

I believe all you got from Oryx was the moldering shards, the gloves were your moldering shard bonus loot. 2 of my chracters had the same thing happen today, so I'm 0/2 on Oryx this week. On a positive note I have gotten 3 pairs of gloves...DAT SMART LOOT THOUGH

Edited by PushedBean764: 9/23/2015 8:13:47 AMAutomatically uses 20 moldering shards to increase the amount of items he will drop. 39 - 20 = 19 19 + 2 = 21 There's your answer Also you don't get double. Just 1 or 2 extra, anything from Oryx's loot table will drop through RNG, like everything else

Extra rewards. Not double. The arms were probably it. And it's safe to assume that uses 20 because you need at least 20.
