LEGALIZE MARIJUANA
I mean why not?
It is really not all that bad...
It obviously have medical purposes
It is practically impossible to overdose
Marijuana is not addictive
As dangerous as Heroin and LSD.... no...
The only gateway Marijuana would lead you to is the fridge...
If marijuana makes you dumb, you're dumb for thinking that
Tobacco and Alcohol is waaaaaay more toxic than marijuana
Tobacco lobbyist, Alcohol lobbyist, Pharmaceutical lobbyist are the ones fighting the legalization of marijuana to protect their own profits. Considering that we live in a country where the economy thrives from competition, yet these companies are pumping money into to the government to prevent competition to take place.
Remember that the only thing dangerous about marijuana is getting caught with it

It's legal where I live. Can grow 4 plants per household. Can't smoke in public. Can't smoke and drive or you will get a duii. We also have medical marijuana. It's great my wife uses it for her chronic headaches and it really does help.

Despite what anyone says, weed oils saved my aunt from breast cancer. Not everyone knows where to get good medical grade though, if it were legal, doctors could work with it to truly perfect it. I could care less about brian gettin high in the basement because from that standpoint, everywhere ive seen it sold legal its been hella pricy. However it is nice to get weed off someone who is legal obligated to tell you exactly what youre getting.

In my past experience, marijuana isn't a gateway to more addictive drugs per say, at least no more then alcohol or tobacco in fostering addictive behavior. But what it does so is introduce buyers into the underground/black market (which ever you'd prefer to call it), because the only way for a majority of people to acquire it is illegally. And once you are in contact with that market, it opens the door to other illicit substances such as heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines. So in that sense it generally acts as a gateway, but it is by no means a definitive precursor to harder addictive drugs. Legalizing would help to eliminate this problem. But that isn't all that need to be considered before it were to happen. There are a ton of other factors legalization would have an effect on.

I wouldn't compare Heroin and LSD. Heroin is highly addictive and dangerous. LSD and other psychedelics like mushrooms or DMT are just hallucinogens, not addictive and not really dangerous unless you have a hard time coping with yourself

10 RepliesYour points are valid, but consider the consequence. If it's legalized it can be monopolized. It will be illegal to produce your own cannabis without certification that costs money. Marijuana legalization has been proposed in the past, but a lot of growers and avid users want to maintain their rights. So unless the law is proposed to be in the citizens favor, I do not support the legalization.

5 RepliesLiterally nothing wrong with smoking weed, besides the fact that you're breathing in smoke which is bad regardless of what you're smoking.. It has lots of medical purposes unlike alcohol and tobacco and it's healthy if you don't smoke it if you ingest it, it does get you really high but it doesn't -blam!- up your liver or lungs like ciggs and alcohol.. If the government was smart they'd put it in stores and tax it, they'd make soooooooo much money
