I benched my thorn. Anyone else?
Honestly have grown to hate this weapon since I have benched it. Now it's all about the last word for small maps. And Hopscotch Pilgrim for ranged maps.
Anyone else finally bench the thorn? I hope the nerf kills it personally. Haha.
What's your load outs these days?

2 Replieshonestly, the hopscotch and ALL two burst pulse rifles are just a hair away from being just as bad. they still two shot, and from anywhere on the map, with even bigger mags and more stability. plus they don't even all have to be head shots with the perks they have out now. thorn is garbage, and pulse rifles are a close second

6 RepliesI used thorn before buff.it was amazing then even though people said it sucked they were way wrong! Now everyone uses it and seems harder to enjoy so i have a new favorite the mida multitool and i wreck people with it

1 ReplyI benched my thorn a long time ago, in favor of the last word. I would use the messenger or fulcrum or mida but in order to compete (with my particular skill level) I have to use a weapon that rivals the thorn. Most infuriating thing ever is when a thorner strafes out from cover shoots once, hides, pops out again and hits me for the second time the runs like a coward away while I'm bleeding out, I feel like Tom hanks on the bridge in saving private Ryan

I honestly stopped using thorn long ago but I'm using it till dlc for shits and giggled and to kill off some thorn users with it lol

Since I got it 3 days ago I'm using til 2.0 but I can already say it's boring I don't know how people used it for 7 months or so

Every once in a while, I took them out, only to end up putting them back into the Vault out of disappointment after a match or 2. As "godly" as these weapons seem to be in anyone else's hands, they do nothing for me. But, I have found a beastly weapon that is more my style: the 55A-AllFATE.

17 RepliesVaulted that scrub weapon a long time ago. Got sick of stooping to the level of people who never turn off try-hard mode. Same with shotguns. I do admit I will still felwinter in rumble, only because rumble is a race to get the most kills. Other than rumble tho, all I do is snipe. So I will use The Last Word if RNG oh-so-generously forces me onto a small map. But given a map that isn't tiny, my favorite loadout is MIDA/LDR. Every kill feels like a true outplay.

I used the last word or my super pox vlo in almost every game for this IB. I did pull out my Thorn for a few games though, just to use it one last time before the nerf.

I just went through a whole iron banner without using Thorn or The Last Word. I used Shadow Price and Hopscotch Pilgrim. And it was my favorite iron banner that I think i've played.
