Best scout rifle?
What do you consider the best scout rifle in the game? If it's rerollable what are the best perk combo? Does it work in pve, pvp or both?
EDIT: I made this before ttk and I still see it appear in the recents. Good to see there's a lot of variety in opinions

Last couple days i have been getting scouts left and right... Jade rabbit is awesome, no doubt. Been using tlaloc. Works great in pvp and i dont even have the final tier unlocked yet. NLshadow seemed ok...but not outstanding (again no tiers unlocked). Also got not like the others, stats look good but i havnt used it

1 Reply"Not like the others" by far for me personally. It's great for pve has explosive rounds and crowd control, so far the best year 2 scout rifle for pve. It's on my hunter If you want to inspect.

1 ReplyMida, Fang and VoC are all favourites but I always go back to an early FWC drop I got - The Calling. Not rollable but I was super lucky to get a god drop with Firefly, Explosive Rounds and lightning fast reload on precision kills. Similar rate of fire, impact, range and stability to Fang. Can outgun Thorn and TLW more times than not. Always my go to in PVP.

Love my MIDA. Even more than my VoC. Hoping it's one of the scouts that gets buffed in the 2.0 patch and I hope to god it gets a year 2 version.

Your usual suspects fang, mida, and VoC are great. But I just had a dead shot Luna drop from a blue engram. Has full auto, explosive rounds/snap shot, and hidden hand. It's lots of fun in the crucible

I'm surprised how well the Midas performs on widows court. I went flawless couple of times with a MIDAS+matador setup both weekends. Otherwise it is really nice to use on shores of time as well... For pve purposes, well I thought I'd like the fang but I don't - VoC is my choice cuz of VoG. Scholar is good as well for pvp/pve. Is there a scout rifle number one? I think no, it always depends on purpose+play style. Edit: I have a salvation rifle; I got it with crowd control+stability+fullauto and idk y but the hit box on this one seems really really small like if u don't hit the head exactly it will not count as critical.... I don't know about the other scout rifles some people are better than me with numbers and stats... -
5 RepliesPvE = VoC. PvP = the scout rifle that my Hunter has equiped. Deadshot Luna with full auto, stability, and zen moment. Shoots as fast as Suros with 43 damage a headshot. But of course, this is just my opinion/preference.
