Black ops 3 rips off destiny
To the titan smash and hunter void bow and the exo specialist this game is a blatant rip off lol how has no one noticed this garbage lol
EDIT 1: Forget to mention the cheeky rejack self rez mechanic that shoots smoke out of your ass lol
EDIT 2: Coolboymitch also mentioned the golden gun mechanic another of the specialists have.
EDIT 3: The amount of salty cod fan boys is staggering lol I rub my nipples with glee every time I read one of these stay classy guardians ;P

My hunter doesn't have a void bow. There is no void bow in Destiny. Are you saying someone from Treyarch, or whoever is reskinning COD this time, invented a time machine and went into the future to rip Destiny off? Seems like a waste of resources, there's probably more money to be made with a time machine.

As a big destiny fan and not acod fan at all I do have to say that the beta multiplayer was better than destiny's now imo, I've never had more fun playing multiplayer by myself

12 RepliesIt's not "ripping of Destiny." More so paying homage/taking creative inspiration from Destiny. Treyarch says they're big Destiny fans. I bet if you asked Bungie, they'd be flattered that Treyarch is very obviously paying homage to their game.

I honestly don't care for BO3 but technically Destiny ripped off Crysis 3 with the Bow, the Titan smash is a 'Hulk Smash' rip off, Void Walker rips off the Singularity for Mass Effect and so on. People don't realize most games just have the exact same content just aesthetically and mechanically different. Quit complaining.

I couldn't care less, block ops 3 ripped off a lot of things including destiny and titanfall. I for one enjoyed the beta and the specialist abilities add a bit more excitement to an almost burnt out game. Some of the abilities are original like battery's armour and prophets glitch ability. They just make the game more fun.

2 RepliesI doubt that people are ignorant of the similarities, it's just a big name franchise that is slowly dying because of the lack of innovative game mechanics. "Same shit different day" so to speak. They're taking mechanics from popular titles and adding to said mechanics to give the game a push forward. It's really just an attempt to revive activision's money maker. But having played the beta, I can say that it was a lot different than destiny and I personally enjoyed it in comparison to other call of duty titles because it seemed like a fresh change of pace.

pretty similar except for the bow and the stormcaller. The bow has been in many games, destiny didn't have it first, and the other is a gun. Still, I bet the CoD fans will say that CoD thought of it first.
