Bungie's STREAM 19/08 - Everything from the stream! DOUBLED VAULT SPACE!!!!!

- [b]DOUBLED VAULT SPACE!!!!!![/b]
- Emblem, Exotic, Ships, Shader collections,
- 40 Levels to level up by EXP,
- Light level will be Defense and Attack into one stat,
- Stats (intellect etc.) have more detailed info like "cooldown" time.
- You can track your bounties!
- You can finish bounties without going to the tower,
- Spark of Light boost your new character to level 25!
- You can pick the weapon you want to show in the tower,
- Class items are useful now,
- Faction packages are GUARANTEED LEGENDARY GEAR!!
- Higher chance to get a shader from packages etc.
- If you have a specific shader you will have a higher chance to get a different one!
- Exchange materials for reputation in factions,
- Nightfall tier rewards from 1 weekly bounty!
- You can earn how many marks you want(limit is 200 but when you use them you can play more and collect them again and again)
- If you earned a specific exotic in year 1 you have the upgraded version waiting for you in the EXOTIC COLLECTION machine!
- You can buy legendary engrams from Cryptarch!
- INFUSE! You can "upgrade" year-2 weapon by consuming other legendary weapon. Upgrade = increase attack number!
- Sword Weapon in the heavy slot,
- Motes of Light can be used to upgrade weapons in the Taken King,
- Artifacts will require Lv40 in order to use,
- Only Year Two legendaries create Legendary Marks. Year One make shards,
- Vanguard, Crucible, and One Pledged Faction gain Reputation all at once,

4 RepliesInterested in your thoughts generally. I thought it was great overall. There is some devil in the detail (how quickly can you accumulate marks etc) but TTK would appear to be a major step forward in most respects. Of course, if all the UI gloss is just covering the same old activities and perks, it will grow stale quickly like HoW. I didn't see many new perks, at least not on weapons. Still. A month ago I reckoned I was almost done with destiny. Then the info in the last month has got me increasingly much more excited for this game again (have played since alpha and anticipated this game for some time before then). Double vault space is great. But I'm pretty sure that within a month we will be short again. They've added pages now, why keep it to two? If it's a system power thing limit old gen to two pages and let current gen have more. I'm not complaining about the increase, just don't understand the arbitrary limitation.

When you first play Destiny 2.0 your character XP will be upgraded to match your current level. So if you are 34 now you'll be 34 there and can start going to 35 through XP.

1 ReplyAnyone else notice there was no GHORN Year 2 Blueprint? He had it in year 1, but only Truth and Thunderlord had Year 2 Blueprints. They mentioned only some exotics will have Year 2 upgrades.

Light Beyond Nemesis, my first exotic, is getting a year two. First thing im getting. Hmm... suros 2.0 or necro buffed... I also saw thunderlord? And truth with 2.0 versions. That sword. And I can get whatever shader / emblem I've had ever? Hehehe. Also, buying that green ghost shell as soon as possible.

Anyone know/think that strange coins will be irrelevant ? In inventory screen there was two new coin looking things, one rare and one legendary. Also Frontier Ghost Shell is like 3 defense, so yeah that sucks....considering people paid 100 and up for limited/digital limited or ghost edition of Destiny.
