Gjallahorn is overated
After plugging away for over 1000hrs finally got gjallahorn on Tuesday. Needless to say I was pretty stoked and relieved to finally get a chance to use it. Anyway after levelling it up and using it for a few strikes and Skolas, I've been left feeling underwhelmed with it. It's good and the best pve launcher but nowhere near what people seem to think it's cracked up to be. Any guardians still chasing it down don't feel too bad if you can't get it because it's not the be all and end all of this game.

1 ReplyI think I can speak to this a little bit. I just got my first on Tuesday after 560 hours. The gun does pack a punch but I feel like it's something I don't have to actually use. I honestly think I like having available exotic primary or specialist more than a heavy. I guess for burning enemies like Crota or Skolas yeah I can see it how it helps. But truthfully I think that's a design flaw of the game. There shouldn't be just one rocket launcher that makes or breaks having to do some levels. At least that's how the community sees it from what I've observed. That's the disappointing part of it all.

Without the wolf pack rounds (using it trying to level it up, while already having a full leveled up one) its not really that good. No better then The Fear. But, with the wolf pack rounds its a killing beast. I have 3, one always on each character.

Just got it myself I felt that way leveling it up but dem wolf pack rounds tho...I imagine when it gets nerfed it will be comparable to any launcher that has tracking and cluster bombs....still number 1 but comparable
